Balance on Buffalo is an established wellness practice in Manitowoc, Wisconsin, offering therapeutic massage in an environment that values presence, professionalism, and client-centered care. This is a W-2 employee position for a Licensed Massage Therapist who practices with integrity, works independently, and does not require micromanagement.

This role is well suited for a therapist who values autonomy within clear structure, brings authenticity into their work, and maintains a strong focus on the client experience. We are seeking someone who takes ownership of their practice, honors professional standards, and approaches massage as a skilled, ethical profession.

Who You Are

• Licensed Massage Therapist in the State of Wisconsin, in good standing
• Self-directed, dependable, and comfortable working independently
• Client-oriented, with the ability to be present, authentic, and attentive during sessions
• Coachable and open to growth without the need for close supervision
• Professional, punctual, and aligned with integrity-based practice
• Experience preferred (1–3 years), though strong new graduates with maturity and self-awareness are welcome

What You’ll Do

• Provide high-quality, client-centered massage therapy sessions that reflect the modalities you enjoy and excel in, while consistently offering a fantastic, well-grounded Swedish massage as the foundation of your work
• Customize each session based on the client’s needs, goals, and comfort level
• Communicate clearly with clients before and during sessions to ensure a safe, respectful, and effective experience
• Offer simple self-care or home-care suggestions when appropriate
• Maintain a clean, calm, and welcoming treatment space
• Uphold professional boundaries, ethical standards, and scope of practice
