A friend’s recommendation brought Karen to yoga and began her practice of now, more than two decades. She began teaching more than nine years ago. Karen believes you should always feel better when you leave a yoga class, than when you began. She loves the mindfulness and the community that yoga creates and that there is always something for her to continue learning. Karen also teaches yin yoga and Peter Hess Sound massage with therapeutic grade singing bowls, which she often incorporates into her classes. When she’s not teaching, Karen loves to travel, go hiking, kayaking and spending time with her dog (or anyone’s dog for that matter).
